Toyota 2000 GT
Topping this list is the stunning Toyota 2000GT. Designed by Jiro Kono and Satoru Nozaki, this car is truly an icon. How much does a Toyota 2000GT cost? If you’re lucky enough to find one for sale or auction, be prepared to pay a premium. One such car recently went up for auction with a starting price of over £500,000. Due to the limited number of units available, this vehicle is relatively rare and much sought after.

How many Toyota 2000Gs were produced? The factory only produced 351 cars in three years of production. Of the 351 cars, only a few were built with left-hand drive for the export market. This car was produced for a very short time, namely three years, from 1967 to 1970.

How fast is the Toyota 2000GT? The Toyota 2000Gt has a top speed of 137 mph and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds. Toyota 2000GT and James Bond
The 2000GT appeared in the 1967 James Bond film You Only Live Twice, which was mostly shot in Japan. Two unique topless models were created especially for the film, and current Bond actor Daniel Craig considers the Toyota to be his favorite Bond car of all time.

Prince R380

After losing to the Porsche 904 in the 2nd Japanese Grand Prix in 1964, Prince Motors set about building Japan’s first complete racing car.

Prince’s team, led by chief engineer Shinichiro Sakurai, began developing a bespoke body mounted on a conventional open Brabham chassis. With its low, aerodynamic aluminum body, the R380 was unlike anything ever made in Japan. Prince Racing R380

The 1965 Grand Prix was cancelled, so Prince had to wait for his first race. The 3rd Japanese Grand Prix was held in 1966. Prince entered multiple machines, and Yoshikazu Sunako finished in 1st place, and Hideo Oishi finished in 2nd place, beating Porsche.

After the merger of Prince Motors and Nissan Motors in 1966, the R380 was rebuilt into the Nissan R380-II. Nissan continued to develop the car until finally the Nissan R382 was designed.

Mazda Cosmo

This very popular car was produced in various versions from 1967 to 1995. However, perhaps only the original L10A and L10B series attracted the attention of collectors because of their beautiful design. The L10A and L10B series were produced from 1967 to 1972.

Designed by Heiji Kobayashi and Kenichi Yamamoto, Mazda produced only one 343 series car and two 833 series cars.

Mazda used the Cosmo name because of international interest in space and the space race.

This was one of the first rotary engine cars produced. How much does a Mazda Cosmo L10A or L10B cost? A car in good condition costs between $250,000 and $350,000. These cars are very difficult to find outside of Japan, and when they are sold they are expensive even in Japan.

Will the Mazda Cosmo be sold in the US? This car is only sold in Japan. As Jay Leno explained, the car was extremely difficult to sell in the United States due to its use of new engine technology, its unusual design, and the relatively short time since the war.

Fuji Cottage

The Fuji Cabin is a small three-wheeled vehicle manufactured by the Fuji Toshuda Motor Company that was announced at the 1955 Tokyo Motor Show.
This car has two front wheels and one rear wheel, and a monocoque made of fiberglass. The Fuji cabin seats two and has forward-facing headlights.

Only 85 were built in 1957-1958. The maximum speed of the car is 60 km/h. How much can the Fuji Cabin be sold for? The car, in good condition, is estimated to be worth $150,000.

Datsun (Pretty Lady) 1500-2000 Roadster

The two-seat Datsun Roadster was launched in Japan in 1962 as the Fairlady 1500 SP310. The Roadster was further developed to provide more power: the 1600 (SP311) in 1965 and the 145 horsepower 2000 (SR311) in 1967.

Datsun began producing complete sports cars and gained great popularity internationally, especially in the United States.

The Datsun Roadster was the first Japanese sports car to attract serious attention, in part because of its success in motorsport. At a fraction of the price of the MGB, the Datsun offers the same performance at a much better price. Radio, heater, seat belts, etc. is standard equipment, but European automakers charge for this optional extra feature. Buyers realized the value and reliability of the car, and sales increased rapidly.

How much does a Datsun (Fairlady) cost between 1500 and 2000 yen? Expect to pay $25,000 to $35,000 or more for a car in good condition. There are cheaper cars that are in worse condition, but even cars that need a lot of repairs can cost up to $10,000.
